We had lunch with Jewel and Hart Rufe and Barbara & Bill Martin,
at the Manatee Island Bar & Grill in Stuart, Florida.

In the restaurant
Afterwards we walked on the jetty near the restaurant and saw these Brown Pelicans.
The close one is almost completely in breeding plumage because of the bright yellow cap and forehead;
the second one, bottom left, is just beginning to get some yellow on the head. He/she still has a way to go.
At home, Hart posed with the smaller of his two telephoto birding lenses.
